Aren't laptops a great asset? What do you use yours for? Does it
earn its keep? I'm sure others like the newer smaller devices but I like
a laptop, the keys are bigger also the screen. I have quite a light
model so can take it anywhere. It also has great storage capacity.
Although I must say I haven't tried cloud storage, I think the
disadvantages would be if you are out and about without Wi-Fi you
couldn't even access your files. I am a prolific writer so can find
something to do without Wi-Fi if necessary.
I have recently discovered "Kindle Blogs" this is another way to get your articles noticed. It is early days for me so I'm not sure yet how good a marketing tool it will be. Or how many readers will sign up to my blogs.
Ezine Articles is one of my current sources of free traffic, I have over 800 readers a month reading my articles, many clicking through to my website and sometimes sharing my articles. I also share them on Google Twitter and Facebook. Sometimes they get picked up by other websites.
I have several articles showing up on search pages, so this brings a little traffic. Guest blogging can bring a great deal of traffic if you can manage to get your articles accepted by influential websites. The articles must be unpublished unique, full of information and well written to be considered or accepted.
As both Google and people like pictures, include them in your articles to get them ranked and noticed, they say "a picture speaks a thousand words". Videos too are extremely popular, you only have to visit YouTube to see the number of clicks a video can achieve.
Video Making will be my next challenge. There is a wealth of information on YouTube on making videos, equipment etc. also free downloadable equipment explained, or you can use you phone.
So for anyone not sure what affiliate marketing is, it is a method of working online selling other people's products and earning a commission on the sales.
You can source your own products and decide what will be best sellers; build your own websites and decide what traffic sources to use, or there is an easier way... Affiliate Marketing with the help and guidance of a good mentor is much simpler, benefit from their experience and work to their tried and tested plan.
They will provide excellent products sales pages and training so that you can earn generous commissions whilst you are learning the techniques. So with a laptop and internet connection you can run a simple business and work anywhere. Start NOW and make 2016 a year to remember!
